Look closely and orange calcite radiates a luminous orange glow reminiscent of the sun, with a warm, energizing look. A member of the calcite family, it is made of calcium carbonate that crystallizes in sedimentary, igneous and metamorphic rocks, and it cuts so easily that it is a favourite for jewelry and carvings.

A stone with ancient roots.
The Romans used calcite widely for grand buildings and intricate carvings, and the ancient Egyptians adorned their pharaohs’ tombs with it. Calcite also travels through the Earth’s own cycle: in the right conditions it can dissolve into groundwater, then re-precipitate and recrystallize, acting as a natural store of carbon dioxide for our planet.
A stone of confidence, optimism and manifestation.
In crystal tradition, a sphere sends its energy out equally in every direction, and its symmetrical shape is thought to radiate a high frequency of positive energy.
Orange calcite is believed to enhance creativity, motivation and personal power, helping you manifest your goals and overcome obstacles. It is known for lifting mood and promoting joy and happiness, and is said to ease feelings of low mood and lethargy. It is associated with the sacral chakra, supporting emotional healing, passion and the expression of one’s desires and sexuality.
Crystals have been prized for centuries for their beauty and believed metaphysical properties; Spirit Magicka makes no guarantee of any mystical or healing effect.
