You receive 50 grams (1.7 oz) of lapis lazuli mini gemstones, approximately 40 mixed pieces, each about a quarter to half an inch across. Deep royal blue to denim, some swirled with white calcite and glinting with golden pyrite, all tumbled smooth.
Pour them into a bowl or dish with seashells and other treasures, or ring a larger crystal with them to frame its beauty and hold it steady; many collectors also believe mini gemstones amplify the larger stone's power.

What is lapis lazuli?
Lazurite, calcite and a glint of pyrite.
Lapis lazuli is a rock made mainly of lazurite, a complex blue mineral, with white calcite and golden pyrite. Formed through contact metamorphism, it gets its characteristic deep blue with golden specks of pyrite.
Treasured for its vibrant blue, a symbol of honor, royalty, power and spirituality, it has been valued and traded for over 6,000 years across Afghanistan, Africa and Europe. Its name comes from the Persian word for blue, and its blue with a hint of red undertone was ground into ultramarine pigment for artists’ masterpieces. It has also been shaped into beads, cabochons and carvings. It is found in Afghanistan, Chile, Russia, Myanmar (Burma) and the United States.
